Affiliate program agreement
Version 2026-05-15. This is a plain-language summary of how the program operates; your onboarding packet or countersigned agreement may add specifics (rate, term, notice). Where they conflict, the signed agreement controls.
Program overview
NCiteIQ’s affiliate program lets approved partners earn commissions when referred merchants subscribe using billing promo codes tied to affiliate campaigns, subject to accurate tracking in NCiteIQ and Stripe.
NCiteIQ may also provide partner landing links (for example /p/your-slug) that set a first‑party browser cookie and log landing events so we can attribute signups and checkout when permitted by program settings. Cookie duration and whether we use first‑click or last‑click attribution follow the program defaults and your assigned tier where applicable.
Partners must apply and be approved by NCiteIQ staff. Approval may be withheld or revoked at NCiteIQ’s discretion for policy, compliance, brand safety, or misrepresentation.
Eligible promotions
Partners must promote NCiteIQ honestly—no false claims about pricing, guarantees, or platform features.
Paid search bidding on NCiteIQ trademarks or confusingly similar terms may be restricted unless expressly permitted in writing.
Spam, unsolicited bulk outreach, coupon scraping sites that violate merchant guidelines, or incentives tied to fraudulent signups are prohibited.
Attribution & tracking
Referrals are primarily attributed when billing promo redemption records associate an NCiteIQ account with a campaign linked to your affiliate partner profile.
When you share an approved landing link, NCiteIQ may record landing visits (path, referrer, user agent, and related metadata) and store a first‑party cookie that ties a browser session to your partner id for a limited time. When a merchant later creates a workspace on the same site, we may copy that partner id into the account’s portal settings according to the program’s attribution model (first‑click vs last‑click).
That cookie attribution supports operations and reporting; it does not replace promo-code redemption for discounts. If both apply, billing and commissions follow the campaign and payout rules NCiteIQ assigns to you.
The affiliate dashboard shows promo performance and landing activity derived from these systems. Subscription churn, refunds, or chargebacks after signup may affect payouts according to your written arrangement.
Tiers, milestones & customer hints
You may be assigned a program tier (for example Starter, Growth, or Strategic) with default commission parameters, cookie windows, minimum payout thresholds, and optional customer-facing hints (such as discount or trial messaging). Staff may override some fields per partner.
NCiteIQ may operate milestone bonuses (one-time awards when defined metrics are met). Milestones are described in program materials or your onboarding; awards may be subject to verification and do not guarantee future rates.
Commissions, holds & payouts
Commission rates, hold periods, minimum payout amounts, and schedules are defined when you are onboarded. Payouts may require tax forms, invoicing, or Stripe Connect (or similar) when enabled for your account.
The dashboard shows activity signals (landings, attributed accounts, redemptions); finalized payouts may follow statements or invoices issued separately.
NCiteIQ may withhold or claw back commissions where subscriptions are refunded, charged back, fraudulent, or where program rules were violated.
Agency & strategic tracks
Partners may be labeled as affiliate, agency, or strategic for internal routing and eligibility. Different tracks may have different onboarding, commercial terms, or tooling—those terms control where they differ from this summary.
Term & termination
Either party may end participation by notice as described in your onboarding agreement (typically with reasonable notice, unless terminated immediately for breach).
Upon termination, you must cease presenting yourself as an NCiteIQ affiliate and remove obsolete promo placements and landing links within a reasonable period NCiteIQ specifies.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NCiteIQ’s aggregate liability arising from the affiliate arrangement is limited as set forth in your executed agreement or, absent such language, to commissions actually earned and unpaid under good‑faith accounting.
Partners indemnify NCiteIQ against third‑party claims arising from partner marketing that violates law or misrepresents NCiteIQ.
